Bright and early Sunday morning we all gathered for the last and final event: Bon Voyage. It is always bitter sweet this last event, but it’s nice to break bread together one last time before we all head home. The Tonner Staff was ever-festive this morning in brown aviator hats, goggles and white scarves, perfectly appropriate for this adventure in flight!
This morning’s centerpiece was an absolutely darling 8” Betsy called Head in the Clouds. Oh, just look at her:
She sits inside the cutest doll base EVER – a tiny resin airplane flying over the clouds, called Bon Voyage, LE 50 – is Tiny Betsy in her aviator gear: a brown bomber jacket with fleece trim, white flying scarf, and aviator hat. She’s also got sweet little cropped brown trousers and boots. She’s a TINY edition size of 100 pieces.
There was a great little parting gift for collectors too: Come Fly with Me outfit set. It’s a fashionable brown aviator hat with fleece trim and brown bomber jacket with fleece trim that will fit 16” Tyler. It’s an LE of 300 pieces.
After the awards were given out, it was down to business: The charity auction of the OOAKs! Check out some of the gorgeous beauty up for auction:
< if this video is sideways, please come back later, it will update to a proper view> Thanks!!
There were a lot of generous people in the audience today! It’s such a terrific event, and a great way to wind down the weekend. Everyone wins: the bidder, because they get a gorgeous OOAK to add to their collection, and of course, the charity and those they provide for benefit greatly, too! The proceeds from this year’s auction of OOAKs will benefit the charity A Friend’s House. It feels good to do good!

Wow, I can’t believe this weekend is over already. It goes so fast! We cannot thank you attendees, virtual or otherwise, enough for hanging with Team Tonner. We’d also like to give a special shout out to Scott Forter, who made our weekend even more special by bringing us Marilyn, and to KCM Productions, who provided us with our very own Marilyn for the event and an AMAZING band to dance to! We are eternally grateful! It just gets more and more special every time, and this year was no exception. Goodbyes are always so hard, but it’s not really goodbye, more like see you next time!! Thank you for making Tonner a destination, dear Collectors, where ever we may be!!
